Internet Proves Beyonce is Queen of the Beat
She’s known as Queen Bey for a reason, and now fans on the internet have found another reason to love Beyonce: she’s always on beat.
It all started when members of the BeyHive (her fanbase) decided to try putting her dance moves to other music. Whatever the reasoning behind it, they actually discovered that her moves worked with pretty much any beat.
Whether it’s gospel, hip hop or musical theatre, Beyonce’s got it covered with her on-beat moves.
Twitter user Kendall Gaines (@MascotMY_Tweets) started the viral sensation after sharing a video of Beyonce rocking out to a remix of the theme song from Little Einsteins with the message #BeyonceAlwaysOnBeat Part 1.

He’s gone on to do over 10 different videos of Beyonce either in her music clips or at concerts, and says all of them match up really well. In an interview with Pedestrian, Gaines says he noticed the coincidental match-ups a couple of months ago and “finally decided to execute my idea to the Twitter world.” Cue the viral response that’s also helped him get another 1200 followers on the social media service.
“I did not expect this to be this big at all! Celebs are mentioning it, from P Diddy to Missy Elliot,” Gaines says, adding that there’s been no word from Queen Bey herself (yet).
“I would literally die if Beyonce mentioned it,” he says. “I’ve loved her for so long, all I want [is] for her to acknowledge it. I’ll be so grateful, she’s Queen in my eyes.”
Media outlets everywhere have now picked up on the craze, including TIME, The Daily Mail, Entertainment Tonight and The Huffington Post. There’s also thousands upon thousands of people tweeting videos under the #BeyonceAlwaysOnBeat hashtag. So expect to see a lot more of Beyonce as she claims her spot as Queen of the Beyt (yep, it had to be said).
